Children’s Book Illustration Services

Hello and welcome! 🌻

In addition to creating children’s books for my ministry, I’m also available to illustrate stories written by other authors. If you have a children’s book on your heart and would like to bring it to life visually, I’d be honored to hear from you. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss your project or ask about my illustration process.

About My Artwork

Every image I create is digitally hand-drawn with care and prayer.
None of my illustrations — in whole or in part — are generated through AI.

The examples below are double-page spreads (meaning one continuous illustration across two open pages). My goal is always to capture the wonder, warmth, and heart of each story in a way that connects deeply with children and glorifies the Creator of creativity.

Typical Illustration Fees

Full-color double-page spread: A complete, full-color scene across two pages - $100(US) for vector-styled art without excessive detail and shading as portrayed by the first six illustrations below. For more detailed art (which entails more hours of work), as portrayed by the last two illustrations below, the cost will accumulate to $150 / double spread page.

Spot illustration: Smaller decorative or character-focused artwork (vector-styled) - $50; detailed - $75.

Cover page: Designed and illustrated cover as part of the entire book's illustration process - Free. On its own, without the accompanying art of the entire book, the cost is $200.

Concept art: Line drawings showing characters and layout  ideas for each page - $150 for entire book.

Alterations

Major alteration: Full redrawing of a completed page - $100 per page with a maximum of 3 full redrawing pages per book to be able to complete the project within the 3-month time of completion.

Moderate change: Adjusting a character’s expression, attire, posture, or background - $50 per page with a maximum of 5 pages with moderate change to be able to complete the project within 3 months.

Minor adjustment: Moving small elements, slight color edits, or adding/removing small details - Free

Payments

Payments can be made securely through PayPal or Yoco, both trusted and accredited payment gateways.

Book Formatting

I also offer professional book formatting to prepare your story for printing or eBook publication.

  • Available formats: Printable PDF (for softcover or hardcover) and eBook (Kindle, ePub)

  • Each book is formatted according to publishing standards for:

    • Bleed, margins, and gutter sizes

    • Page and text layout

    • Readability and aesthetic balance

Cost: $150 (includes both printable and eBook versions)

If you already have your own illustrations, I can still handle the formatting for the same fee.
Illustrations should be submitted as finalized PNG or JPEG files at 300 dpi resolution.

Once the final PDF or eBook is approved by the author, no further changes will be made. Additional changes will incur additional fees.

Formatting timelines is separate from illustration timelines.

Project Timelines

For a standard book of 15 full-color double-page spreads, the usual completion time is around 3 months from the project start date. This may vary depending on revisions and complexity.

Current availability: I am currently open for new projects and can begin immediately.

Copyright & File Policy

The author/client retains full copyright to the final illustrations delivered in PNG, JPEG, or PDF format.

The original working files (such as Photoshop files) remain the property of the illustrator and are not distributed.

A Final Note

Each story is a seed, and my heart is to help it grow — beautifully, faithfully, and in a way that blesses the children and families who will read it.

If you feel your story might be one of those seeds, I’d love to journey with you in bringing it to life through art. 🌿
